Rootiva is an agri-tech company dedicated to developing sustainable solutions for modern agriculture through the production of biodegradable mulching paper. The company was established to address the growing environmental challenges caused by conventional plastic mulch, which contributes to soil contamination and agricultural plastic waste. Rootiva offers an eco-friendly alternative made from renewable plant-based materials such as corn starch and biodegradable polymers.
The biodegradable mulch provides the same agricultural benefits as traditional plastic mulch, including moisture retention, weed suppression, soil temperature regulation, and crop protection. However, unlike conventional plastic mulch, Rootiva’s product naturally decomposes in the soil after use, eliminating the need for costly removal and disposal.
By combining innovation, sustainability, and practicality, Rootiva helps farmers reduce labor costs, improve soil health, and support environmentally responsible farming practices. The company aims to contribute to the transition toward regenerative agriculture and a circular economy while meeting the increasing demand for sustainable agricultural inputs. Through continuous research and development, Rootiva strives to become a trusted leader in biodegradable agricultural solutions that benefit farmers, consumers, and the environment.
