Reflourish is an innovative circular economy startup based in the Netherlands, dedicated to transforming horticultural and agricultural waste into sustainable home fragrance products. By repurposing materials such as citrus peels and flowers that would otherwise be discarded, Reflourish creates high-quality scented amber blocks that combine environmental responsibility with meaningful customer experiences.

Our mission is to convert recycled organic waste into value-added products that support sustainable resource use and circular economic growth. Through a combination of natural ingredients, in-house essential oil extraction, and creative storytelling, Reflourish offers consumers a unique way to bring atmosphere, sustainability, and memorable experiences into their homes.

Product Description 

Reflourish's signature product is a handcrafted scented amber block enclosed in a beautifully designed wooden book. More than just a home fragrance product, each wooden book tells a story connected to its scent, creating a unique sensory experience for the user.

The amber block is made from natural beeswax, upcycled essential oils extracted from horticultural waste, and natural stabilizers that ensure a long-lasting fragrance release. The first collection features citrus-inspired scents created from rescued citrus peels.

Customers can also purchase refill amber blocks separately, making the product both sustainable and reusable. By combining storytelling, decorative design, and eco-friendly ingredients, Reflourish transforms waste into meaningful products that enhance the atmosphere of any home.

About us

We are Rajvardhan, Zoë, Julakha and Srushti. We are second-year International Agribusiness and Trade students.

We are an international team, coming from India, the Netherlands and Bangladesh, which gives us different perspectives on business, sustainability and innovation. Working together has helped us combine our individual strengths in agriculture, trade, marketing, and finance to develop a more complete and realistic business idea.

Through our studies, we focus on how innovation and agricultural systems can become more sustainable and efficient. This project is part of that learning journey, where we aim to turn real-world environmental challenges into practical and innovative solutions.
