For the innovation project, our group has selected to create a ready-to-eat meal packed with all the necessary nutrients and enriched with the flavors of the Peruvian kitchen called PackPot. The meal contains 3 main ingredients – potatoes (either sweet or gold), red lentils, and a delicious tomato sauce. PackPot was created primarily for camping or hiking enthusiasts, as well as people with busy lifestyles, vegans and vegetarians or people with intolerances. To ensure a long shelf life and easy usage, we decided to dehydrate each of the meal's components – this way the meal can be prepared by only mixing it with boiling water.
We combined our strengths to create PackPot from scratch — from ideation and prototyping to packaging and video production. Our shared mission: to create sustainable, travel-friendly food that honors ancient traditions while solving modern problems.
