Dutch dairy farmers are continuously facing increasing challenges, including regulations, societal pressure and environmental concerns. Many struggle to plan for the future and feel the need for stronger connection withing their sector. until now, there has been no dedicated, private platform where farmers can safely share their knowledge and experiences without external opinions and influences. To improve the future perspective for dairy farmers 4 students from Van Hall Larenstein Velp, the Netherlands will launch Dutch Dairy connect. Dutch dairy connect will be an online platform. learned from our field research, most farmers like to look up the needed information on the internet. Therefor we will use website. This ensures easy access for all farmers.

Product Description 

On the website user create their own profile with business or job type and where they work and or live. In exclusive chat boxes users can discuss and share their knowledge, opinions and experiences. Only member of Dutch dairy connect can enter a chat box therefore these chat boxes are a safe environment for farmers and people within de Dutch dairy sector. all content is checked by the content quality department to ensure that all information is reliable and non-commercial.

I have a social and creative personality. I prefer working together in a team! I have a great interest in nature, climate and animal health. with this innovation I hope to give Dutch dairy farmers a sustainable future. I will take my place in the main board as Content quality manager. Together with specialist I will discuss the reliability of Articles before posting.

Chiara Poelman, manager social department

In my opinion, the demand is high for a platform based on comprehensive and extensive information which is reliable and easily accessible for all Dutch dairy farmers. I will take my place in the main board of DDC as manager of the social department. In this we maintain and develop DCC relationships with the farmers and our partners, all aiming to strengthen the community.

Jannick Raben, manager financial department

I am comfortable with figures, and I am familiar with excel, so that within the project there can be and remain what possibilities are available in terms of finance. I think it is very important that we can play a role in helping to connect and educate the Dutch dairy farmers and they can help each other to keep the sector going in these uncertain times. Making the sector stronger and ready for the future. I will fulfil the role as manager of the finance department and take my place in the main board.

Luana Negoescu, manager tech department

I am responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our digital platform. I bring a unique perspective to this role, having studied architecture in high school, where I developed a strong foundation in step-by-step problem solving and construction-based thinking. This background enables me to tackle platform development with a clear, structured vision. Ensuring our platform remains reliable and responsive to the needs of our users. Eventually I will take my role in the mainboard and become manager of the Tech department.
